Who is Corey Foster and why am I reading his blog?
I am a “web industry professional” (Ug, I hate titles… that gives you a whole lot of information, huh?)
Like so many in this industry, I really don’t know what I am, but I know what I do, where I’ve been, and have a bit of an idea where I am right now.
So what I do, professionally, is lots of stuff. Be it graphic design, 3D animation, PHP programming, CSS coding, Flash motion design, Actionscript 3 programming, Flex development, or some another current web buzz word, I’ve become proficient in so much out of the need for a specific result in one of hundreds of projects over the past decade. I am a jack of all trades, which makes me an expert in nothing, but means I am an pretty darn good hands-on project manager.
So that’s me today, Corey Foster, dirty handed project manager and dabbler in all that the crew will let me touch at Core Business, Inc.
To get here, I’ve experienced a lot in this industry… and maybe one day I’ll feel confident enough to concisely write it out here. I suppose you could also view my LinkedIn profile for all kinds of dry notes about my education and work history… or you could say “eff that” and check out my photos on Flickr.
Drop me a line if you’re interested in hearing more, if you wanna talk about mountain biking in the Eastern US, disc golf, or if you’re confused by “all this” like so many of us are.
