Well, it’s conclusive – I’m a father! My daughter, Avery Marie Foster, was born today, April 27, 2008 at 1:35AM at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN. She weighs eight pounds and is 20 inches long.
Lana delivered her naturally and masterfully – I’ve honestly never witnessed anything more amazing and awe-inspiring. She didn’t even make much noise. It was nothing at all like in the movies: my hand wasn’t broken, she didn’t call anyone names and there was no screaming or yelling, just the sound of David Grey softly filling the room.
We are home with her now and everything is going very well.
